I decided very early on in our relationship that I was gonna do my best not to pick up any of these terms, and so far so good. It's part of what makes him special, his culture and his accent. It's amusing especially when he's here with me because he talks like he normally does, and I understand him, but everyone else thinks he's talking in code. We both have fun with people, he talks and I get to translate!
In under 35 days, we'll get to have fun with it again... he's coming to see me!!
oh those are fun words! I like "Sneaky beaky" the best!

Yankeemom: I know! Just wait 'til you hear an English guy say it... I end up on the floor laughing 'cause it sounds like it would be funny, but they are dead serious when they say it!
US: Actually didn't know that, thanks for sharing! I knew you'd keep me in line... and just for you, I've kept off the slang word for a guy in the British Army ;o) It's not gonna drag, it's gonna FLY!! Please let it fly...
