And no, you may not choose or what.
One of my big worries, and Royal's, was my having to learn how to drive a stick-shift. Comfortably in one month. While driving on the wrong side of the road. In the passengers seat. We're gettin' hitched , we're moving to Scotland, and then he's deployed. Oh, and I know no one that drives a stick-shift - which is pretty surprising considering I live in small city Texas - so can't practice before I go. I am a fast learner, but Royal goes back to work the day after we fly back, so I'll be trying to look for a job, but not able to drive myself...
I get a call from Royal at a different than usual time Friday, and he says,
"I have some good news! I think."
What lady doesn't love that!
"Okay... tell me, tell me now!"
"You know how we've been stressing a bit about the driving situation?"
"Yessss..."
"What if I [static] of that? What if I [static-y could've been traded or trade] in the car."
"I'm sorry baby, are you asking me, or did you already do it?"
"I already did it. I wanted it to be a surprise so you wouldn't have to worry!"
Awww. I melted. Of course I had to have the details, but it was a great deal and now I have a silver automatic! What a sweetheart. A sweetheart I get to see again in 12 days!! Miracles never cease.
I'm guessing 'stick shift' is a manual gear change. When I first started driving I had to double declutch which I quite enjoyed. Anyhow Royal has cerainly come up trumps - what a sweetie!

Yup stick shift = manual! I have no clue what double declutch means, but it sounds complicated, glad you like it. :o)
Definitely an angel.
