I filed my online application for my UK VISA last night. Talk about stress, I didn't want to mess anything up - it's $520 to apply! Of course if you screw it up, they don't care and you have to pay another $520 for a new one. Yikes. I had both my parents looking over my shoulder and Royal on the phone to insure it was all perfect. My favorite question was, "How many bedrooms will you have?" My answer: none of your damn business (yeah, I wish!)!
Besides that small fiasco, just 6 more days of work, 8 more days until Royal flies in, 9 more days until we're in Arizona able to actually work on the wedding, and 26 more days until we get MARRIED! If I can just keep sane until then.
If you don't care one bit about wedding details, then don't read any further (see I'm nice, I save it until last and then warn you!) ----------------------->
Finally have the flower situation worked out. I'm going with roses:
Red for Royal and I
White for the bridesmaids and groomsmen
Yellow for the family members - has significance as yellow is what the men in my family always give to their girls
Since the wedding is taking place in Southern Arizona (where I was born and raised) I'm leaning towards a Southwestern feel. The centerpieces on the tables will be southwestern terra cotta pots filled with cactus and succulents , along with punched tin luminaries - hopefully very pretty!

I am such a guy about wedding planning
Wedding-y post
*see not that many considering I've been engaged EIGHT months! Heh.
Only 26 days left!? Time sure does fly, don't it?
