Small Towns are Great: The Christmas Card

I don't live in a super small town (think 500 people) and I don't live in a big city (think 50,000 or more) I live in a midsize Texas town. Never is this more obvious than when things like the following happen!

My Mother went to one of our local banks yesterday and was stopped by one of their employees.
"Aren't you Kathy __'s Mom?"
"Yes I am..."
"We received a letter in the mail with her name but addressed to the bank, will you take a look at it?"
"Sure!"

Sure enough it was for me, a Christmas card from an old friend. How in the world she got the banks address I'll never know, I've never even lived on that street!

My Mom and I had a good laugh about it, but it's nice to know that there are people looking out for you - even if it is just a Christmas card!
