Royal's English English Accent

Sitting around at home last night my husband begins telling me about a meeting he had earlier in the day.  All pretty normal stuff until he began speaking about a certain person.  And my husband develops an accent.  So I ask,
"Honey, is Mr. Such-in-Such English?"
Royal responds in the affirmative and then I say,
"Oh okay!  Because you were doing an English accent and --"
....
Without hesitation and with a grin my husband tells me
"I always have an English accent."

There might have been some laughter, I'm just saying.

Does that mean Royal is speaking with an American accent now?

Haha, nope! And I wouldn't want him to acquire one either, it's part of who he is. He was actually putting on a bit of a posh English accent for the such-in-such in the story. It's a far cry from his Southern accent!
