Royal & I had our rehearsal dinner at a well known Tucson Mexican restaurant the night before, it was excellent. Then we took off with just the "kids" for our bachelor/bachelorette party - that's right - party. We all went together. I've had a lot of people roll their eyes when they were told about the party, but it was a blast all of us together! Royal and I didn't need to be apart to 'have our last fling' or 'girls night,' we wanted to hang out with our friends and relax (after all, it had been 3 days of meeting family and talking with family - time to get away for a bit!).
Now for the big day!
Royal & I went out for breakfast together that morning - to a bagel shop. When we found out that the place we wanted to be married didn't do morning or afternoon weddings like we really wanted, we compromised by saying night would be great, but we were going out together that morning! It was sweet and just the start we needed. Definitely made a memory.
The moms and bridesmaids came with me to have our hair done. It was so sweet and extra special because my hairdresser (who has done my grandmother's hair for over 20 years AND gave me my first perm) brought cheese and crackers and fancy fruit punch! Our hair was finished about 3:00pm, slightly earlier than we had thought which was fantastic because putting on the make up took longer than I thought it would.

I let my bridesmaids pick out their own dresses, and how they wanted to do their hair. And speaking of dresses, I wanted them to wear whatever color, fit and cut made them feel beautiful... but they kept wanting to know exactly what I wanted and didn't believe that I didn't care. So they just couldn't help themselves and all ended up wearing shades of silver/grey - which was gorgeous.
Me! My hair is not very thick and does NOT hold a curl, so she basically had to starch my hair! It was beautiful all night and didn't look incredibly hair sprayed at all, so good on her.
